I'm hopeless...three+ months without a post...you'd almost think I didn't like to write. Which is wrong. I love to write. I also love to sit on my butt knitting with my dogs snuggled up beside me on my couch by my frosted windows in Owls Head with the incomparable Maine coast light kissing the back on my neck...These weekend meditative respites have sustained me for the long weeks in Lewiston...Every minute is so precious. I'm reading and listening and watching and photographing...but not much writing. This could change. All things are possible.
I'm working on a slide show with music about my trip to Spain and France with Suzi over Christmas...I think the project deserves a weekend all to itself. And then there's the pet portrait prints I'm committed to making but haven't done and the special little project for Theresa -- yes you! -- and finishing (ok, if you must, starting) Mom's 80th Birthday Sweater - Take Two (see Take One in post for June 22, 2006--; We were both heartbroken that it didn't fit...but onward to the next challenge!).
Here are a few finished projects to prove I haven't been a total slug these past few months...Would have more pix available but for the fact that I dropped my laptop in December and shattered the harddisk into thousands of little slivers (Imagine dropping an old 78 rpm phonograph record from 20 feet!). I wholehearted admire the cataloging of FO's (finished objects, as contrasted with the unfinished ones -- UFO) done by master knitter/blogger/photographer Brooklyn Tweed in his incomparable Flickr Gallery (http://www.brooklyntweed.net/), but if I wait until I can meet that standard, I'll never post... So here are a couple of my FO's, naked and ill-described, as eye candy only....without a list of ingredients or nutrition facts...

There will be more to come when I get photos of the Clapotis I just finished -- love it! -- along with multiple pairs of socks-in-progress...Stay tuned!

Oh, my, three months without a blog post? I can't imagine ever doing that.... LOL
Hee hee, I am glad I am not the only one!!!
